Given : - t^9 + 4t^6 + 7t^5 / t^5

To find the degree of polynomial

i.e to find maximum power in the polynomial.

Solution : -t^9/t^5 + 4t^6/t^5 + 7t^5/t^5

= -t^4 + 4t + 7

=Here the maximum power in the polynomial is 4

therefore, 4 is the degree of polynomial.
