Answer:

We know that: Destiy =Mass of the objectvolume of the object

Here Mass of the object =50 g

And volum of the object = 20=cm3

Now putting these values of mass of and volume of the object in the above formula ,we get : Density of object =50g(20cm)3

=2.5g/cm3

Thus the density of object is 2.5g/cm3

Since the density of object (2.5g/cm3) is greater than the density of water (1g/cm3) therefore , the object will sink in water.
