The density will remain same for both wood and cube IFF the mass of wood remain constant.

Yes the shape in both cases will differ.

Now the main question is why density remains same?

If we change shape of any body it will cover same volume in every case because mass is a scaler quantity it doesn't change with shape and direction (Until object is traveling with speed of light)

Note:-

Word IFF means (if and only if)

Answer:

The density of wood as a sphere and a cube will remain constant if the mass of wood is constant 1 Kg

Explanation:

The density of the material is said to be the mass of a unit volume. This is the  formula used to calculate the density of a material

                                d = \frac{mass}{volume}

By changing the shape of material doesn't affect its mass and volume. So, the density also remains the same.
