We know:

Differentiation formula

y =  {x}^{n}

 =  >  \frac{dy}{dx}  =  {nx}^{n - 1}

In this way,

y = 2 {x}^{1}

 =  >  \frac{dy}{dx}  = 2.1. {x}^{1 - 1}

 =  >  \frac{dy}{dx}  = 2. {x}^{0}

 =  >  \frac{dy}{dx}  = 2

As, x⁰=1

Hence, derivative of 2x is 2.
