x - 1 \times x - 2 = x - 3 \times x - 4

 {x}^{2}  - 2x - 1x + 2 =  {x}^{2} - 4x - 3x + 12

 {x}^{2}  - 3x + 2 =  {x}^{2}  - 7x + 12

 {x}^{2} -  {x}^{2}  - 3x + 7x = 12 - 2

4x = 10

x = 10 \div 4

x = 5 \div 2

x = 2.5

It may be right answer.
