if the square has an area of 64m^2,

it's diagonal ≈11.31m

D is diagonal, A is area

Using the formulas

A=a^2

d=2a

Solving for d

d=2A =2·64 ≈11.31371m

varsha303: d is diagonal
varsha303: and a is area...
Shrut64: What is a^2
varsha303: it means a²
Shrut64: What is a sq.
Shrut64: I think i m irritating you
varsha303: a²means a *a
Shrut64: the sides of square is 8 m
by Pythagoras theorem
8 square + 8 square= 8 root 2
then diagonals of square are 8 root 2
Shrut64: Is it correct
