find the diagonal of a rectangle whose is 35cm and breathe is 12cm

the diagonal is calculated by using Pythagoras theorem

so here , use Pythagoras thm. bcoz each interior angle of rectangle is 90 degree .
so, acc to Pythagoras thm.
diagonal=
   \sqrt{ {12 }^{2}  + {35}^{2} }  \\  =  \sqrt{144 + 1225 }  \\ =  \sqrt{1369 }  \\  = 37
