Diagonal of rectanhle = √(breadth^2+length^2)
=√(35^2+12^2)
=√(1225+144)
=√1369
=37

The diagonal of the rectangle isof 37cm

Answer:

Diagonal of rectangle is 37 cm.

Step-by-step-explanation:

The diagonal of rectangle is like a hypotenuse.

So, by Pythagors Theorem

(Hypotenuse)² = (Length)² + (Breadth)²

=> (Diagonal)² = (35)² + (12)²

=> (Diagonal)² = 1225 + 144

=> (Diagonal)² = 1369

=> Diagonal = 37 cm

Hence,

Diagonal of rectangle is 37 cm.
