We can find length of diagonal of a cube very easily using its sides by the use of the formula finding the diagonal of the cube which is

diagnal \: of \: cube =  \sqrt{3} a

where a is the given edge of the cube.

Given that edge of a cube is equals to 12 cm.

So ,

a = 12cm.

As , we know that

diagnal \: of \: cube =  \sqrt{3} a

So,

Diagonal =  \sqrt{3}  \times 12 \\ 12 \sqrt{3} cm

so, diagonal of the given cube will be

12 \sqrt{3} cm
