Let the diameter be d cm
As we know that
Circumference of circle with diameter d is πd
Given Circumference of a circle is 44 cm
⟹πd=44

7
22

×d=44
⟹d=
22
44×7

=14
So the diameter is 14 cm

Answer:

i) diameter = 14 cm, Area = 154 cm squared

ii) diameter = 42 cm, Area = 1385.4 cm squared

iii) diameter = 38.5, Area = 1164.1 cm squared

Step-by-step explanation:

If d is for diameter

Pi * d = circumference

Pi * d = 44

Pi * d = 132

Pi * d = 121

d = 14cm (approximately)

d = 42 cm

d = 38.5

Area of a circle is pi*(radius squared)

Radius is one half the diameter.

Radius = 7cm

Radius = 21 cm

Radius = 19.25 cm

area = 154cmsq

Area = 1385.4 cmsq

Area = 1164.1 cmsq
