The area of circle is given as πr²

=25πcm²

r²=25

r=5cm

The circumference of circle is 2πr

2×22/7×5

10×22/7 =314.28cm²

Required Answer:-

Given:

  • Area of circle = 25π cm².

To find:

  • Diameter of the circle and,
  • Circumference of the circle.

Solution:

We have,

➡ Area = 25π cm²

We know that,

➡ Area of a circle = πr² (r being the radius)

So,

➡ πr² = 25π

➡ r² = 25π/π

➡ r² = 25

➡ r = √25cm

➡ r = 5cm.

Diameter is twice the radius. So,

➡ D = 2r

➡ D = 2 × 5cm

➡ D = 10 cm.

Hence, the diameter of the circle is 10 cm.

Circumference of a circle is calculated by using the formula,

➡ C = 2πr

So, circumference of the circle will be,

= 2 × π × r

= π × (2r)

= π × 10 cm (2r is the diameter)

= 10π cm.

Hence, the circumference of the circle is 10π cm.

Answer:

  • Diameter of the circle is - 10cm.
  • Circumference of the circle is - 10π cm.
