Let the diameter be d

As we know that

Circumference of the circle with diameter d is πd

Given circumference is 62.8 cm

⟹πd=62.8

⟹d= 62.8/3.14=20 cm

So diameter of the circle is 20 cm

Answer:

Area = π r2 = 628

Therefore

3.14 x r2 = 628

314/100 x r2= 628

r2 = 628 x 100/314

r2 = 2 x 100

r2 = 200

r = √200

r= 10√2

Diameter = 2r = 2 x 10√2 = 20√2 cm
