Circumference is calculated as pi*diameter so the diameter of this circle is 66/pi
For the area, you need the radius in order to calculate pi * r^2
As the radius is half of the diameter, the radius of the circle is 33/pi
The area may now be calculated as pi*((33^2)/(pi^2)), so the numerator can be multiplied by pi or the denominator can be divided by pi. The latter looks simpler
giving 33^2/pi
