We know that circumference = 2πr
where r is the radius.

Further, we know that 2r = d (diameter)

and 2πr can be written as 2r × π

=> d × π
= πd

Hence, 2πr = πd

So circumference = πd

Given, circumference = 1256 cm
π = 3.14

=> 3.14 × d = 1256

=> d = 400 cm

Hence, diameter of the circle = 400 cm.

Hi Mate!!!

Circumference of circle is = π × D

where D is diameter of circle

π × D = 1256cm

D = 1256 / 3.14

D = 400cm

Have a nyc day.
