Given - Numerical value of volume equal to numerical value of curved surface area

Find - Diameter of cylinder

Solution - The formula of volume of cylinder = πr²h.

The formula of curved surface area of volume = 2πrh

As per the question, both the values are equal. So, equating them and on representing in mathematical form we get-

πr²h = 2πrh

Cancelling same constants.

r = 2

Hence, radius = 2 centimetres

Therefore diameter will be = 2r

Diameter of cylinder = 2*2

Diameter of cylinder = 4 centimetres.
