find the diameter of sphere whose surface area is 616sp cm

we have given that 
surface area of sphere = 616 cm²

we have to find diameter of the sphere = ?

solution:-
we know that 
surface area of sphere = 4πr²

here
 surface area of sphere = 616 cm²

=> 4πr² = 616 cm²
=> πr² = 154 cm²
=> r² = 154 / 3.14      ( because π = 3.14 )
=> r² = 49.04 
=> r = 7.002

now 
we know that diameter  = 2 times of radius 


hence;
diameter of sphere is equal to 2× 7.002 = 14.004 answer
