Find the diameter of the circles whose areas are given below.

a. 706.5 m²

Area of a circle = πr²

⟹ 706.5m² = 3.14 × r²

⟹ 7065m²/10 = 314/10 × r²

⟹ 7065m²/10 × 100/314 = r²

⟹ 70650m²/314 = r²q

⟹ 225m² = r²

⟹ √(225m²) = r

⟹ 15m = r

Diameter = 2 × radius

Diameter = 2 × 15m

Diameter = 30m

b. 254.34 cm²

Area of a circle = πr²

⟹ 254.34 cm² = πr²

⟹ 25434cm²/100 = 3.14 × r²

⟹ 25434cm²/100 = 314/100 × r²

⟹ 25434cm²/100 × 100/314 = × r²

⟹ 25434cm²/314 = r²

⟹ 81cm² = r²

⟹ √(81cm²) = r²

⟹ 9cm = r

Diameter = 2 × radius

Diameter = 2 × 9cm

Diameter = 18cm

c. 379.94 mm²

Area of a circle = πr²

⟹ 379.94mm² = πr²

⟹ 379.94mm² = 3.14 × r²

⟹ 37994mm²/100 = 314/100 = r²

⟹ 37994mm²/100 × 100/314 = r²

⟹ 37994mm²/314 = r²

⟹ 121mm² = r²

⟹ √(121mm²) = r

⟹ 11 mm = r

Diameter = 2 × radius

Diameter = 2 × 11mm

Diameter = 22mm

d. 3140 m²

Area of a circle = πr²

⟹ 3140m² = πr²

⟹ 3140m² = 3.14 × r².

⟹ 3140m² = 314/100 × r²

⟹ 3140m² × 100/314 = r²

⟹ 314000m²/314 = r²

⟹ 1000m² = r

⟹ √(1000m²) = r

⟹ 100m = r

Diameter = 2 × radius

Diameter = 2 × 100m

Diameter = 200m
