It is given that ,

Circumference of the circle(C)=36 cm--( 1 )

π = 3.14

Let d is the diameter of the circle .

We know that ,

C = πd --( 2 )

From ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) , we get

πd = 36

d = 36/π

d = 36/3.14

d = 11.464 cm
