1. mass is the quantity of matter contained in a substance whereas weight is the force by which rather attracts any body.
2. mass is constant everywhere whereas weight is maximum at poles and least at equator.
3. units of mass are kg, g etc. whereas unit of weight is Newton as it is force.
4. mass can never be zero whereas weight can be zero at center of earth.
5. mass is scalar quantity whereas weight is vector quantity.
