principle= 12000
rate=9% per annum
time= 2 years
simple interest= p*r*t/100
12000*9*2/100
from 100 double zero is canceled from 12000 when we cancel the 00 it will 120 left
= 120*9*2
= 120*18
= 2160.ans.
now when we find it by compound interest let's see what happens
C.I= p(1+r\ 100) to the power time
= 12000(1+9\100)to the power2
= 12000*109\100*109\100
= 12*109*109\10
= 141816\10
= 14181.6
difference between C.I and S.I

vaishanvi: sorry half answer left that is diffirence b\w the c.i and s.i = 12021.6 is the difference between them.
knligma: are yar you edit the question

adiba9: But 12021.6 is not the right answer
