Find the difference between the area of hexagonal plot each of whose side 72m and the area of the circular swimming pool inscribed in it (Take r = 22/7)

Solution :-


Given

hexagonal each side s = 72 meter


Formula Area of Hexagonal ,


A = 3 √3 (s^2)/2


A = 3 √ 3 (72^2)/2


A = 13468.43 square meter ****


Then,

Area of circular swimming pool


Circular Area = πr^2


r = 22/7 given


So


Circular Area = π (22/7)^2


Circular Area = 3.141 (22/7)^2


Circular Area = 31.031 square meter****



Now difference between area is


Area of Hexagonal - Area of circular swimming pool


Difference Area = 13468.43 - 31.031


Difference Area = 13437.39 square meter Ans.
