You can do this as you'd do with a normal subtraction!
You need to find the difference between 5 and -2 (x coordinates) and then the difference between 8 and 8 (y coordinates)
So,
(5,8)-(-2,8)= (7,0)
This means that there's a difference of 7 between the x coordinates and a difference of 0 between the y coordinates!
