Given:-

  • Edge of cube is 10 cm.

To find:-

  • Difference between the total surface area and Lateral surface area of cube.

Solution:-

  • We need Total surface area of cube and Lateral surface area of cube for there difference.So,

We know that,

◆Total surface area of cube = 6a²◆

In which,

  • a is Edge of cube.

Put edge of cube in formula,

⇒6×(10)²

⇒6 × 100

600 cm²

And Formula for Lateral surface area of cube is

◆ Lateral surface area of cube = 4a²◆

In which,

  • a is Edge of cube.

Put edge in formula,

⇒4×(10)²

⇒4×100

400 cm²

Difference = Total surface area of cube - Lateral surface area of cube.

⇒600 - 400

200 cm²

Therefore,

Difference of Total surface area and Lateral surface area of cube is 200 cm².

Given :

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • Edge of cube = 10cm

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

To Find :

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • Difference between T.S.A and L.S.A of cube

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Solution :

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Total Surface area = 6 × side^2

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

 \bf \implies6 \times  {10}^{2}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  \bf\implies6 \times 100

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

 \bf \implies600 {cm}^{2}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Lateral Surface area = 4 × side^2

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

 \bf \implies4 \times  {10}^{2}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  \bf\implies4 \times 100

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

 \bf \implies400 {cm}^{2}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Difference = Total Surface area - Lateral Surface area

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

 \bf =  {600cm}^{2}  -  {400cm}^{2}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

 \bf =  {200cm}^{2}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Therefore, difference between the total surface area and the lateral surface area is 200cm^2.
