The given AP is

5, 12, 19, ...

• First term ( a ) = 5
• Common difference ( d ) = 7

∴ 24th term - 16th term

= (a + 23d) - (a + 15d)

= a + 23d - a - 15d

= 8d

= 8 * 7

= 56 ( Ans. )
