Let slope of straight line = m
then, General equation of straight line is
(y - y1) = m(x - x1)
y - 2 = m(x - 3) => y = mx - 3m + 2
y = mx - 3m + 2
(y - 2) = m(x - 3)
m = (y -2)/(x - 3) ------(1)
hence, general equation of St. line is
y = mx -3m + 2
now, differentiate with respect to x
dy/dx = m
put equation (1)
dy/dx = (y-2)/(x-3)
then, General equation of straight line is
(y - y1) = m(x - x1)
y - 2 = m(x - 3) => y = mx - 3m + 2
y = mx - 3m + 2
(y - 2) = m(x - 3)
m = (y -2)/(x - 3) ------(1)
hence, general equation of St. line is
y = mx -3m + 2
now, differentiate with respect to x
dy/dx = m
put equation (1)
dy/dx = (y-2)/(x-3)
