The side of square is 10 cm

In right angled △ABD

AB2+AD2=BD2 [according to Pythagoras theorem]

(10)2+(10)2=BD2$

100+100=BD2

BD2=200

BD=10 root 2cm

∴ Diagonal of square =10 root 2cm.

Answer:

10\sqrt{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Applying pythagoras theorem:

Diagonal=h

b=10 cm

p=10 cm

h=\sqrt{b^{2}+p^{2}  }

=\sqrt{10^{2}+10^{2}  }

=\sqrt{200}

=10\sqrt{2}
