Explanation:

( p + a/v^2 ) ( v- b) = RT

p=pressure dimension=ML^-1T^-2

V=VOLUME DIMENSION= L³

R=UNIVERSAL CONST.=ML^2T^-2K^-1.mol^-1 (NOT REQUIRED)

T=TEMP DIMENSION=T. (NOT REQUIRED)

TWO dimension when equal then there sum or subtraction possible. So....,

[P]=[a/V²]

[ML^-1T^-2]=[ a/(L³)²]

[a]= [ML^5T^-2]...... dimension of a

[b]=[V]

[b]=[L³]........dimension of b
