Let the width of the rectangle be w then the length is :

W + 20

Perimeter = 2l + 2w where

l = length

w = Width

Substituting in the formula we have :

2w + 2w + 40 = 100

4w = 100 - 40

4w = 60

w = 15

The length = 15 + 20 = 35 cm
