\mathbb{ SOLUTION } :

Given :
Marked Price (M.P) = Rs. 28500
Selling Price (S.P) = Rs. 24510

We know that,
Discount = M.P - S.P

Discount = 28500 - 24510

Discount = Rs. 3990

Now,

Discount % = \frac{Discount}{M.P} × 100

Discount % = \frac{3990}{28500} × 100

Discount % = 14%

Hence,
the Discount = Rs. 3990 and
Discount % = 14%

\underline{\bold{Given:-}}

Markef price M.P. = 28500 rupees

Selling price S.P. = 24510 rupees

\underline{\bold{To\:find:-}}

(i) Discount

(ii) Discount percentage

\underline{\bold{Solution:-}}

(i) First of all we have to find out the discount given.

\bold{Discount}

It is defined as the difference between the marked price and the selling price.

Discount = M.P. - S.P.

Discount = 28500 - 24510

\boxed{Discount = 3990rupees}

(ii) Now , we have to find out the discount percentage.

Discount\% = \frac{Discount}{M.P.} \times 100 \\ \\ = \frac{3990}{28500} \times 100 \\ \\ = \frac{3990}{285} \\ \\\boxed{ Discount\%= 14\%}
