Solution :-

(c) Difference between $8,000 and $5386.27 = $(8,000 - 5386.27) = $2,613.73

(d) Jane needs a pair of shoes that cost $3,750 but she only has $1,875.

So, she will need money =

$(3,750 - 1,875) = $1,875.

Hence, the final answer is

(c) $2,613.73

(d) $1,875
