Let a=4 root5 b=-root5 c=-20
B2-4ac=D
(-root5)^2-4(4*-20)
5-4*-80
5+329
325
Therefore discriminant is 325
Hope it help dear mate

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

4√5x^2-√5x-√20=0

B^2-4ac= (-√5)^2-4(4√5*-√20)

=5-(-4*4√5*(-√20)

=5-(-16√5*-√5*√4)

=5-(-80*√4)

=5-(-160)

=5+160

=165

Therefore 165>0

Hence, real and distinct root exist in given quadratic equation.

Thank you!!!!!!

Hope it will really help.....
