Find the discriminant of the equation 3x2-2x + 1/3 = 0

Answer:

firstly multiply whole equation by 3

now equation was 9x^2-6x+1=0

a=9

b=-6

c=1

discriminant=b^2-4ac

                   =(-6)^2-4(9)(1)

                   =36-36

                   =0

therefore discriminant of equation is 0
