Find the discriminant of the quadratic equation :

2 − 4 + = 0.​

D = b^2 - 4ac

= (-4)^2 - 4×2×1

= 16 - 8

= 8

Hence the discriminant is 8

And please first of all complete or write the full quadratic equation as it is not correct equation as far as i can understand i solve this equation so..plz first correct the question..
