when we multiply then found 2x^2-x-2x+1
2x^2-3x+1. therefore a=2,b=-3,c=1
now use formula d =+-√b^2 -4ac
+-√9-8

Given quadratic equation
(x-1)(2x-1)=0
=> x (2x-1)-1 (2x-1)=0
=> 2x^2-x-2x+1=0
=> 2x^2-3x+1=0
We know that
Discriminent of a quadratic equation = b^2 - 4ac
Discriminent = (-3)^2 - 4(2)(1)
=9-8
=1
.°. Discriminent of the given quadratic equation is 1
