Question  :-

                Q)  Find the distance between (-2,-3) and (-4,1)?

⇒ Answer :-

⇒ by using distance formula :-

                     d = \sqrt{(x_{2} - x_{1} )^2 + ( y_{2} - y_{1} )^2   } \\where ,\\        d = distance \\       ( x_{1} , y_{1})  are co-ordinate\\      ( x_{2} , y_{2} are co-ordinate

where ,

           x_{1} = -2\\x_{2} = -4\\y_{1} = -3\\y_{2} = 1

so, by appyling distance formula :-

               d = \sqrt{(x_{2} - x_{1} )^2 + ( y_{2} - y_{1} )^2   }\\d = \sqrt{(-4-(-2))^2 + (1-(-3))^2} \\d = \sqrt{(-2)^2 + (4)^2} \\d = \sqrt{4 + 16} \\d = \sqrt{20} \\d = 2\sqrt{5}  unit ^2

hence your answer is 2\sqrt{5} unit^2 .

thank you.
