Here ,the two point is given and we have to find the distance between these points.For this we use distance formula for finding the distance.

Distance formula

Distance formulaD=√(x₂- x₁)²+(y₂- y₁)²

Distance between P and Q

P (-3,4) & Q( 1,-2)

x₁=-3;x₂ = 1 ; y₁= 4 & y₂ = -2

By using distance formula :

Distance between the point P&Q

PQ=> √ (x₂- x₁)²+(y₂- y₁)²

PQ=>√((1-(-3))²+(-2-4)²

PQ=>√(1+3)²+(-6)²

PQ=>√4²+(-6)²

PQ=>√ 16+36

PQ=>√52

PQ=2√13

Hence,the distance between P(-3,4)& Q(1,-2) is 2√13 units .
