Distance formula,
PQ = √ ( x2 - x1 )² + ( y2 - y1)²
= √ ( 0 - sin∅ )² + ( cos ∅ - 0 )²
= √ (-sin ∅ )² + (cos ∅ )²
= √ sin² ∅ + cos² ∅
= √1
= 1
