find the distance between the following pairs of points: C(-9,5) and D(2,-3)

By Distance Formula,

Distance =  \sqrt{[-9 -2 ]^2 + [5 -(-3)]^2 }

Distance =  \sqrt{(-11)^2 + (5 +3)^2 }

Distance =  \sqrt{121 + 8^2 }

Distance =  \sqrt{121 + 64}

Distance =  \sqrt{185}  units
