AnsWer :

2√2 unit

Given :

  • P1 = (-1 , -2)
  • P2 = (1 , 0)

To Find :

Distance between AB.

Solution :

Let point be,

  • A( -1 , -2 )
  • B( 1 , 0 )

We have Formula, (Distance Formula )

 \tt \dagger \:  \:  \: AB =   \sqrt{ {(x_2- x_1)}^{2} +  {(y_2 - y_1)}^{2}  }

So,

\rule{90}1

 \tt\longmapsto AB =  \sqrt{{(1 + 1) }^{2} +  {(0 + 2)}^{2}  }

 \tt \longmapsto AB =  \sqrt{4 + 4}

 \tt \longmapsto AB =  \sqrt{8}

 \tt\longmapsto AB = 2 \sqrt{2} \: unit.

Therefore, the distance between pair of point be 2√2 Unit.

\rule{200}3
