find the distance between the parallel lines 3x+4y-3 =0 and 6x+8y-1 =0

4y=-3x+3

y=-3÷4x+3÷4

m1=-3÷4

8y=-6x+1

y=-6x÷8+1÷8

m2=-6÷8

since lines are parallel

m1=m2
