The given data in the above question,

it is given that the equation 5x+12y-7=0 and 5x+12y+32=0

we have to find the distance between two parallel lines ,

Thus, simplifying the above given equation we get,

Distance between two parallel line =\frac{\left|c_{2}-c_{1}\right|}{\sqrt{a^{2}+b^{2}}}

\mathrm{d}=\frac{|32-(-7)|}{\sqrt{5^{2}+(12)^{2}}}

=\frac{32+7}{\sqrt{25+144}}\\=\frac{39}{\sqrt{169}}\\=\frac{39}{13}\\=3

Hence the distance is 3.

Note:-find the distance between the parallel lines 5x+12y-7=0 and 5x+12y+32=0
