Distance Formula
 \sqrt{(x1 - x2) {}^{2}  + (y1 - y2) {}^{2} }
Point A(8,-2)
Point B(13,-6)
 \sqrt{(13 - 8) {}^{2}  + ( - 6  - ( - 2))}  \\  \sqrt{ {5}^{2} + ( - 4) {}^{2}  }  \\  \sqrt{25 + 16}  \\  \sqrt{41}  \: units
Distance between them is √41 units

I have solved it using distance formula, i.e,

DISTANCE= [(X2²-X1²) + (Y2²-Y1²)]

Explanation:

Hope you all got it...
