= 2 × root(a^2 + b^2)

we have a formula to find the distance between two points
d = √(x1-x2)²+(y1-y2)²
so here x1 = a
x2 = -a
y1 = b
y2 = -b
so now distance
d = √(a+a)²+(b+b)²
d = √(2a) ²+ (2b)²
d = √4a² + 4b²
d = 2√(a²+b²)
