Answer:

Hello mate✔✔✔

Given :-

  • x1 = 1
  • x2 = 5
  • y1 = 5
  • y2 = 8

Using Distance Formula,

 \sqrt{ {(x2 - x1)}^{2} +  {(y2 - y1)}^{2}  }  \\  \sqrt{ {(5 - 1)}^{2} +  {(8 - 5)}^{2}  }  \\  \sqrt{ {(4)}^{2}  +  {(3)}^{2} }  \\   \sqrt{16 + 9}  \\  \sqrt{25}  \\ 5

° Distance = 5 units

Hope it helps

{\underline{\tt{Applying\:Distance\:Formula:-}}}

{ \boxed{ \tt\sqrt{(x _{2} - x _{1}) {}^{2} + (y _{2} - y_{1}) {}^{2}   } }}

 \implies{ \tt{ \sqrt{(5 - 1) {}^{2} + (8 - 5) {}^{2}  } }} \\  \\  \implies \:  { \tt\sqrt{4 {}^{2} - 3 {}^{2}  }} \\  \\  \implies { \tt{\sqrt{16 - 9}  }} \\  \\   \implies{ \boxed{ \tt{\sqrt{7} }}}
