by distance formula =
  \sqrt{ {x2 - x1}^{2}  +  {y2 - y1}^{2} }
 \sqrt{26 }

using distance formula

we have

√(y2-y1 )² + ( x2-x1)²

=> √ (8-3)² + (3/2 -5/2 )²


√ 5² + 1²

= √ 26
