Given : points A(3,6) and B(5,7)

To Find  : distance between the points

Solution:

Distance formula for distance between two pints (x₁ , y₁) and (x₂ , y₂)

is given by

= √(x₂ - x₁)² + (y₂ - y₁)²

points A(3,6) and B(5,7)

Distance =  √(5 - 3)² + (7 - 6)²

= √2² + 1²

= √4 + 1

= √5

distance between the points A(3,6) and B(5,7) = √5
