Given

We have given two points A (3,6) and B ( 7,11)

To find

We have to find the distance between the two given points

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

How to solve :

step 1: Since, we have two points and have to find distance between them so,we use distance formula here to find distance.

Step 2: Substract the x coordinate of point A from the x coordinate of Point B similarly,do with y coordinate. Evaluate and solve the root is your distance.

A( 3,6) B(7,11)

Distance formula

D=√(x₂- x₁)²+(y₂- y₁)²

Distance between A and B

A (3,6) & B( 7,11)

let x be 'a'

x₁=3 ;x₂ = 7 ; y₁= 6 & y₂ = 11

Now,by using distance formula

D= √ (7-3)²+(11-6)²

D=√ (4)²+(5)²

D=√16+25

D= √41

Hence,the distance between the points A (3,6) & (7,11) is √41 units
