Given that ;-

p = (cosx \: and - sina)
q = ( - cosx \: and \: sina)

Now ,

 = > pq = ( \sqrt{(cosx - cosx^{2}) + sina - sina^{2} }

 = > \sqrt{(2cosx^{2}) + (2sina^{2}) }

 = > \sqrt{4cosx^{2} + 4sin^{2}a }

 = > \sqrt{4(cos^{2}x + sin^{2} a) }

 = > \sqrt{4}

 = > pq = 2

Therefore ,
