Answer:

(PQ) ^2 = (x1 - x2)^2 + (y1 - y2) ^2

=( -5 - (-1)) ^2 + (7 - 3) ^2

=( - 5 +1)^2 + (4)^2

= (-4)^2 + (4)^2

= 16 + 16

= 32

PQ = root 32

=4 root 2

So, the distance is of 4 root 2
