Hi,

Here is your answer,

Given, A(-6,7) and B(-1,-5)

Using Distance formula= √(x₂-x₁)² + (y₂-y₁)²

              = √(-1-(-6)² + (-5-(7)²

              = √(-1 + 6)² + (-5 - 7)²

              = √(5)² + (12)²

               = √(25 + 144)

              = √169

               = 13 units

Hope it helps you !

We know that Distance between 2 points is:

(x1,y1) = (-6,7)

(x2,y2) = (-1,-5)

d =  \sqrt{(x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2}

          =  \sqrt{(-1 - (-6)^2 + (-5 - (7)^2}

          =  \sqrt{(-1 + 6)^2 + (- 5 - 7)^2}

          =  \sqrt{(5)^2 + (12)^2}

                \sqrt{169}

             = 13.

Hope this helps!
